The Max

Situated at 606 West 57th Street, on the western edge of Hell’s Kitchen, The Max is the third building to be completed in three years on this Hudson River waterfront strip of multi-family rentals that SLCE has worked on as executive and/or design architect.

At 42 stories and 961,000 square feet, the building is comprised of 1,028 units, in addition to 37,000 square feet of commercial space, which will make it one of the largest independent rental developments in New York City. Designed by Arquitectonica, the building is formed of rectangular volumes that stagger inward as it rises, connected through a central vertical core. Amenities available to residents include a roof deck, outdoor theater, clubhouse, fitness center with indoor basketball court, and full-time doorman. The Max will also include parking for 400 vehicles and 558 bicycles.
