Gotham West

Gotham West is a complex of four buildings occupying most of the block surrounded by 11th Avenue, 44th Street, and 45th Street. The four independent buildings have different heights: the three build-ups overlooking the streets are 14 stories each and the tower on 11th Avenue—totaling 1.15 million square feet of new construction overlooking a landscaped courtyard—is 31 stories.

The buildings are comprised of 1,404 rental units of both market-rate and affordable housing, amenity spaces, parking, and a very successful retail space. Previously the site was home to an historic school, which has been renovated as a condominium. A larger school was built in the same block as part of the approval for an extensive rezoning of the site.
