Interior Designer

Location: New York, New York
Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an interior designer to work on large, complex residential, hospitality, educational, and healthcare projects. The position will offer the candidate opportunities to grow within the firm amid exposure to an innovative, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.

What you should expect in your role:

Participation in high-energy, collaborative team and project environments
Engagement and team involvement and willingness to participate in ideation at all levels
Design and documentation support on projects of various sizes and complexities
Production of contract documents, construction details, and FF&E specifications
Development and implementation of overall design concepts with finish palettes through all phases of design
Production of 3D SketchUp Models and 3D rendering visuals at different phases of design

Educational & Experience Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in Interior Design
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
Strong verbal and graphic communication skills
Full proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch Up, Rhino and/or 3DS Max
Creation of presentation books and loose materials trays, ordering missing items, scouting for new materials, calling providers for new options, etc
Experience with researching, selecting, and specifying materials and finishes
Experience with furniture selection and specification
Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment
