Milan
Completed in 2004, Milan was one of the first of a growing number of residential buildings along this section of Third Avenue in the East 50s to be entirely rendered in window wall. The building’s chamfers lend a lean verticality to the tower, which contrasts with its older neighbors typically rendered in brick masonry.
The Milan’s 152 apartments addressed the need for larger-proportioned units and a higher level of finish than this neighborhood ordinarily produced, and included a high-end appliance package, cherry-wood flooring, landscaped garden, full-service garage, club room, and health club.
