712 Fifth Avenue
712 Fifth Avenue is a 52-story, 500,000-square-foot office tower with a high-end retail base, located on “Limestone Alley” on Fifth Avenue alongside landmarks such as Rockefeller Center. Designed in collaboration with Kohn Pedersen Fox and Beyer Blinder Belle, the tower is predominantly sheathed in a light textured Indiana limestone façade, and the stone massing of the mixed-use building extends from a five-story solid masonry base. Incorporating a new public atrium and retail arcade with the landmarked Rizzoli and Coty structures, 712 Fifth Avenue respects the scale of West 56th Street’s historic preservation district. Serving as the project’s executive architect, SLCE successfully coordinated the huge team of designers and technical consultants.
