50 West 66th Street
50 West 66th Street will be the tallest building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side upon completion. Designed by Snøhetta, it features a façade of “sculptural excavations” evoking the “chiseled stone of Manhattan’s geological legacy.”
The synagogue of Congregation Habonim, which exists on the property, is incorporated into the building’s design. In addition to being a stone’s throw from Lincoln Center and Central Park, the building’s amenities include a 16th-floor outdoor terrace, a swimming pool, seating areas, and plantings.
