Located in downtown Brooklyn, 388 Bridge Street is among a cohort of new residential towers in the neighborhood. The building held the record for tallest building in Brooklyn until the development of Avo DoBro, also designed by SLCE. At 53 stories and 413,000 square feet, the building is comprised of 357 units, all with nine-foot ceilings. Additionally, the ground floor features 10,500 square feet of retail space and an athletic club. The fifth floor features a dedicated amenity space along with an outdoor recreation space for residents.

The building was designed with a reinforced concrete flat-plate system and introduced “belt” walls at the mechanical levels, which help provide lateral reinforcing. Utilizing a window-wall system of aluminum, glass, and metal panels, the façade was simplified to be visually seamless. The façade is comprised of different glass types, which reflect the light at varying planes.
