300 East 64th Street is an example of how a development site successfully deals with the city's Tower on a base regulation. It also demonstrates SLCE's ability to integrate a new luxury 27 story residence of 101 units, new cinema and retail space over an existing cinema while in use into a single-unified composition. Extensive limestone trim and detailing at the base recall a prewar aesthetic typical of East side luxury residence. Chamfered glass corners and inset bay windows at the tower provide interest to the building's profile and set the product apart from the more conventional neighbors dating from the 60's and 70's.
