265,000 sq. ft., 32 Stories, 123 Units

At 32 stories and 265,000 square feet, Halcyon comprises 123 luxury condominium apartments, ground-floor retail space, accessory parking, and an unusual indoor pool and amenity package positioned in the middle of the tower, a result of nuances in zoning resolution text.

Halcyon was the third of a number of towers designed by SLCE in this particular Midtown location; it presents a warmer palette of limestone and bronze tones on a limestone-clad base, relating in scale to the neighborhood’s tree-lined side-street walk-ups. The tower portion that fronts Second Avenue presents a more glass-and-metal materiality shared by the many new buildings which have sprung up within the same timeframe.

Amenities include a mid-tower 52-foot indoor two-lane pool featuring a spa and sauna, health club, library, residents’ lounge with catering kitchen, yoga studio with double-height windows, and a double-height entrance lobby.
