SLCE Architects renovated and converted part of a 100-year-old Catholic convent in Brooklyn along with its adjoining laundry building into a single room occupancy (SRO) building for homeless women housing 78 studio apartments along with community spaces and commercial kitchen. Some units have balconies facing a landscaped courtyard and all units have a private bath and kitchenette.
