Greenford Green is Greystar’s first new build, rental, and private apartment scheme in the UK, consisting of 1,965 new homes within a mixed-use managed community. Located in Ealing, the development will be one of the UK’s largest-ever build-to-rent schemes.
SLCE has designed two buildings on a podium block, including the tallest building in the scheme at 19 stories. It occupies the site of the former Sunblest bakery and is the gateway to the main Greenford Green master-plan site.
SLCE designed the façade of the neighboring E building and is responsible for the design development of all three buildings on the project, working alongside practices HTA, Hawkins Brown, Flanagan Lawrence, and MAE.
SLCE has an enviable track record of delivering build-to-rent schemes. It has completed over 45 in the past seven years and excels at understanding the requirements of the marketplace and concepts which ensure success for its clients. It was established in 1941 in New York and it has since grown to become a highly respected design company and the most prolific practice in the city. Its London office was opened in 2016.
